Punta Wagyu Ranch
Registered fullblood Japanese Wagyu — homestead-raised, grain-finished. We are a family homestead in Charlotte County, Florida, raising registered fullblood Japanese Wagyu and selling shares of the live animal for household use, not resale.
Fullblood, not Wagyu-style
Fullblood means 100% Japanese Wagyu genetics registered with the American Wagyu Association — not a crossbred “American Wagyu” or Wagyu-influenced feedlot animal. That pedigree is the difference between marbling that defines the breed and a marketing label.
Each steer we sell is documented. Buyers receive a bill of sale for their fractional interest in the live animal before harvest, which is the legal basis for custom-exempt processing in Florida.
Raising them in Southwest Florida
Wagyu is a slow breed, and Florida heat makes it slower still. Our steers spend their lives on pasture here in Charlotte County, Florida rather than moving through a feedlot, which means a longer grow-out than commodity beef and a far smaller number of animals finished in a year.
The finish is grain-based, fed out over the final months to build the intramuscular fat the breed is known for. Because we handle one animal at a time, we know how each steer was fed, when it was moved, and how it was handled on the last day.
Pedigree is documented rather than asserted — steer FB94946 carries AWA registration #FB94946, and the certificate itself is reproduced under genetics.
How we sell
One animal at a time through this site. Capacity is limited — for the current steer we keep half for the family and sell the other half as one half-share or two quarters. When a round sells out, the waitlist feeds the next announcement.
